The midnight release has become something of a tradition. The most dedicated fans will camp outside in costume just so they can be among the first people to watch their new favorite movie, to pick apart the plots holes, and to post spoilers in an internet comment section.

Here are the 20 biggest midnight releases that had people lining up for days:
