‘The American‘ starring George Clooney leads the Wednesday Box Office Rally with $1.67 million for its opening day in 2,721 theatres. The film will find new competition on Friday when ‘Machete‘ and ‘Going the Distance‘ join the fray.
First Place – ‘The American‘ takes the top spot at the Wednesday box office with $1.67 million on its opening day.
Second Place – ‘Takers‘ steals another $1.24 million on Wednesday as the heist film continues to draw mid-week audiences and crosses the $$25 million mark.
Third Place – The Last Exorcism‘ scares up another $941k in devil dollars in its sixth day of release against a total of $23.9 million to date.
