Americans are so excited for The Avengers that we’re actually collecting all of the film’s trailers that are releasing across the world. Earlier this month, we got to see Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., and co. assemble in the German Avengers trailer, which came across more heated and energetic than much of what we’ve seen here in the U.S. Now, we can add the Russian trailer to our resume, which has a darker, swifter tone to it.
The versatility here is is a testament to the power of language. The same characters, situations and themes can come across quite differently if presented by different languages. But the consisency is a testament to The Avengers, which will always, no matter what dialect it bears, be awesome.
So what others might we find in our possession? How will different languages and cultures affect specifically the delivery of The Avengers? Will we ever NOT want to talk about this movie?
The Avengers comes to theaters May 4, 2012.
