HOLLYWOOD, June 17, 2000 — Outfest 2000 came to a close Monday night with the premiere of “The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy,” held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Starring Dean Cain, Timothy Olyphant and Nia Long, “Broken Hearts” is about a group of gay men who go through personal struggles and challenges of friendship, transcending the ideas of a traditional family.
Attending the premiere were the film’s cast, as well as Christina Applegate, Johnathan Schaech, LeAnn Rimes, James Van Der Beek and many others.
