The Children's Midsummer Night's Dream | 2001
A group of children is watching a puppet play, when some of them are drawn into the drama. Hermia is in love with Lysander, but her father wants her to marry Demetrius. To escape the arranged marriage, she and Lysander elope into the woods they have seen in the theater. Demetrius follows them, followed in turn by Helena, who nurses an unrequited passion for him. Meanwhile, the actors are rehearsing their play in the woods. But the forest is also the theater for the drama played out by Oberon and Titania, the king and queen of the fairies, whose lovers' quarrel results in magical change for all around them.
