While much of of the indie romantic comedy When Harry Tries to Marry takes place in New York, the filmmakers were smart to bring their divided, titular protagonist (Harry can’t decide whether to stick with his arranged marriage or follow his heart with a girl in the city) to the stunning backdrop of India.

The crew lucked out—as you’ll see in this exclusive feature from the film (now available on DVD and Netflix), while on the hunt for locations, the Harry Tries to Marry team discovered an exquisite palace, a place they knew had to be the epicenter of their shoot.
