The Family Secret | 1951
After David Clark kills his drunk, violent friend Art, he explains to his lawyer father, Howard, that he acted in self-defense. Howard lets David decide whether or not to confess. Disappointed when David refuses to admit to his crime, Howard is further disturbed when district attorney George Redman prepares to prosecute Joe Elsner, a bookie Art was in debt to. When his son still refuses to turn himself in, Howard agrees to defend Joe.
