The Hobbit 3They set the date! They set the date! No, not Emily Maynard and Jef Holm. We stopped talking about them, remember? Even more exciting. At least to Hobbit fanboys and girls.

Save the date for July 18, 2014. That’s when The Hobbit: There and Back Again, the last of the three films in Peter Jackson‘s adaptation of the JRR Tolkien novel will be released. According to Deadline, today Warner Bros. and MGM Pictures announced the exciting news.

In addition to revealing the release date and title of the third and final film in the trilogy, they also delighted Tolkien enthusiasts with the title of the second film.
