As we’re nearing the release date of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Warner Brothers has begun the big marketing machine to get butts in the seats for the first part of Peter Jackson‘s second epic J.R.R. Tolkien‘s trilogy about Middle Earth.
The clip is only :30 seconds, but does a fine job of volleying both the action and the humor behind the film. Undoubtedly anticipating huge numbers considering its precursor’s box office domination, the clip also alerts fans to the fact that tickets are slated to go on sale November 7—over a month before the movie opens on December 14.
