The Poster For Tom Hardy’s ‘Legend’ Spins A Bad Review Brilliantly

The upcoming London gangster epic Legend starring Tom Hardy as the historic Kray twins is about to hit theaters in Britain, then the U.S. shortly after on October 2nd. So the reviews have been coming in from critics, and while most are good-to-great, The Guardian critic, Benjamin Lee, wasn’t a huge fan of the film, so he chose to give the film two stars. Not the sort of thing you want to brag about publicly.

Nonetheless, the graphic designers behind the most recent Legend poster found an ingenious way of incorporating the review into the poster without making the whole “two stars” aspect stand out.

Here’s what they did:

THAT’S how you hide a bad review folks. Tucked between two heads so it appears as though the stars could go on forever.

Even the film critic who issued the bad review couldn’t help be be a little impressed with the craftiness of the poster team:

If they put the same effort into the film as they did this one marketing hurdle, this could be one amazing movie.
