Synopsis

New owners Alex, Charlie and Nigel fight to keep the Toronto Underground Cinema open despite challenges like needed repairs, stiff competition and a changing audience. Documentary features interviews with the owners of theatres like New York City's Film Forum, Austin's Alamo Drafthouse and LA's New Beverly Cinema, along with filmmakers Kevin Smith, John Waters, Atom Egoyan and George A. Romero.
