‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ World Premiere Red Carpet Photos
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice premiered last night here in New York and both Nicholas Cage and Helen Mirren were there. As we can see, they are total opposites: Cage continues to look at cameras like they’re slabs of stinky cheese, and Helen Mirren looks like the elusive perfectly-hydrated daisy.
Also in attendance was Jay Baruchel and Teresa Palmer, two people we know very little about but seem to like very much anyway. Baruchel plays the titular apprentice to Cage’s sorcerer, and from the looks of him, he did not escape from the throes of Cage unscathed. To this day, Angelina Jolie seems to the most high functioning of his co-stars, with her six kids and her Brad Pitt. Just after Face/Off wrapped, John Travolta started using hair plugs — hopefully Baruchel will fall somewhere in between the two.
