The Warriors stuntman sues studio bosses for unauthorised use of image

Bennie Harding, 53, has accused executives at Paramount Pictures and Viacom of releasing the game with his face on the cover back in 2005 – without his knowledge or consent.

And now the stuntman, who was just 19 when he starred as a gang member in the 1978 film, has launched a legal battle against both companies at a Manhattan Federal Court and is seeking unspecified damages.

According to the New York Post, Harding only recently realised his likeness was on the packaging when his teenage son picked up the game at a local store.

He says, “My 14-year-old son recognised me. I looked at the packaging of the game, I saw my image on Page 32, and, right away, I knew it was me.”
