They Shall Have Music | 1938
Frankie, a New York City street urchin who harbors a love for classical music, finds tickets to a concert by the great violinist Jascha Heifetz. Feeling inspired by the performance, he enrolls at a nearby music academy. The schoolmaster, professor Lawson, allows the talented Frankie to sleep in the basement of the troubled school, which is facing bankruptcy. Along with Lawson's daughter Ann, Frankie organizes a benefit concert to save the school.
