Avengers: Infinity War will hit theaters May 4, 2018, and it looks like a major Game of Thrones star will be headed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to Variety, Peter Dinklage who stars as Tyrion Lannister on the HBO‘s hit series is in talks to join the MCU. Since the seventh season of the fantasy epic just wrapped and the shooting schedule has been shifted, Dinklage has some room in his schedule.
The plan is to shoot Avenger: Infinity War Parts 1 &2 back to back, so that Dinklage will be able to star in both films as a major character. Though we don’t know much about the plot of the film as of yet, we do know that Marvel mega-villain Thanos (voiced by Josh Brolin) will be making a grand entrance. The Russo will be directing both flicks.
