Let’s take a look at our David O. Russell Uncharted Chalkboard-of-Possibility, shall we? For a while we’ve had Mark Wahlberg and Robert De Niro inked into place as the two leads (though we’re still holding out on Nathan Fillion, despite O. Russell not knowing who he is), but there’s been no word on who the leading lady will be. Empire had an interview with the Oscar-nominated director and asked that very question.
They threw out the possibility of Amy Adams, who he just worked with on The Fighter. He was very open to that idea and even mentioned Scarlett Johansson as another possibility. We’ll just go ahead and chalk their names on the board! But seeing as this is David O. Russell we’re talking about we have our erasers handy in case he decides to suddenly drop the whole thing.
