Much like its immortal heroes (and villains), the Underworld series seems like it will have life in it forever. We’ll at least get to see a fourth installment this January in the form of Underworld: Awakening. Series star Kate Beckinsale appears in the beginning of the clip below, introducing a video that explains the legacy of her vampire race in the move series. Beckinsale catches us up on the origins of the vampire and werewolf species of the Underworld universe, the spark of the warfare between them, and the involvement of her character, Selene, and Scott Speedman’s Michael as two of the key players in the age old battle.
