Big news for all you sci-fi fans out there. Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) is the latest actor to be tapped for Warner Bros’ highly anticipated Jupiter Ascending, the new sci-fi flick from Cloud Atlas masterminds Andy and Lana Wachowski. The actor will join the cast of Hollywood heavy hitters Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Eddie Redmayne.

According to Deadline, Bean will play Stinger, “a Han Solo type of character.” Translation: He’s going to awesome. While the details surrounding the Jupiter Ascending’s plot are few and far between, it’s reported that this is the first original major science fiction action franchise that the Wachowski duo has created since The Matrix.
