‘Black Panther’ isn’t a film that many people thought we would see in our lifetime.
Debuting in 1966 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he was the first superhero of African descent in mainstream American Comics, coming out before Falcon and Luke Cage or the DC John Stewart role as Green Lantern. For many children, it was awesome to see someone who looked like them to be a superhero, and now those children, as well as the children of today, will be able to see him on the big screen. Chadwick Boseman appeared in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, and while we got a glimpse into his story and the story of Wakanda, there is still much to be shown.
