Walk The Red Carpet of the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ Premiere


There’s a pretty good chance you grew up with Tiger, Eeyore, Piglet, Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the animals in the 100-acre woods, but there’s a good chance you don’t know much about the origin.

Author Alan Milne (Gleeson) needed a release from the war, so he wrote a book about his son’s bright outlook on life. After he wrote the book and it turned into a phenomenon it can be rough for a child being thrown into the limelight.

In the above video go to the UK premiere at Leicester Square in London to hear from the cast and director. Margot Robbie talks about how she grew up with Winnie the Pooh but never really thought about the origin of where it came from, young Will Tilston goes into Christopher Robin’s sacrifice, Alex Lawther discusses what happened to Christopher, Director Simon Curtis talks about why people can relate to the stories, and Domhnall Gleeson  explains safe places as well as what he wants the audience to take from the story.
