Being in a Star Wars film is literally a dream come true.
It doesn’t matter if you’re in the main 9, or in the branched off “A Star Wars Story”, a star wars film still has the same feel and epicness. The stories started with Rogue One, the telling of how the rebels got a hold of the plans that set in motion the destruction of the Death Star, but the newest one is a little different. ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ tells the story of how Han met Chewie, Lando, the blaster, the Millenium Falcon, and most importantly, how he got to be the rough tough man we see later in the films. To play these younger roles you must cast younger people, and the stars of Solo couldn’t be happier they were chosen.
In the above interview, you can walk the red carpet of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ where Disney really went all out, complete with the Millenium Falcon on Hollywood Blvd. President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy talks about what Solo really is, Ron Howard tells us why this story is important to writer Larry Kasdan, Woody Harrelson still can’t believe how big the premiere is, Thandie Newton tells us why doing a story on Han Solo makes sense, Emilia Clarke explains what it’s like to be part of the Star Wars franchise, Phoebe Waller-Bridge talks about the opportunity to go back in time, Donald Glover says why playing Lando is special to him, and Alden Ehrenreich then talks about being part of the film.
‘Solo: A Star Wars Story is in theaters May 25, 2018.
