Wall Street tops Wednesday Box Office

Wednesday Daily Box Office Rally

078725H1.jpgFirst Place – Director Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps  was the top film of the weekend and is the top film on Wednesday with $1.58 million.  With Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko and co-starring Shia LeBeouf, the film has earned $24.3 million to date.

Second Place – Director Ben Affleck’s The Town continues to impress audiences and heists $1.29 million from some 2,885 theaters.  The crime thriller, which also stars Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm, is at $53 million total in just 13 days of release.

Third Place – The Owls have it as director Zack Snyder’s Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole grabs third place with $703k and has a six day cumulative total of $18.5 million.
