Watch Dwayne Johnson Sing At ‘Moana’ World Premiere

Disney animation films are always larger than life, so Disney always knows how to do a premiere.

For their newest film ‘Moana’, they couldn’t just have a red carpet, that’s too boring. Instead, they had a luau, complete with live Polynesian drum band, tribal dance, and a performance by Dwayne Johnson and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s doing their song “You’re Welcome”.

In the above video from the premiere Chief Creative Officer for Disney and Pixar John Lasseter talks about how the directors had to go to the islands to truly learn about the culture, Alan Tudyk wishes his character, the chicken “Heihei” had a singing part, Lin-Manuel Miranda was surprised and grateful for how long they’ve had to work on the film, Auli’i Cravalho is excited for people to finally see her character Moana, and Dwayne Johnson discusses how important it is to listen to your conscience, as well as who will enjoy the film.

Moana releases tomorrow November 23, 2016.
