World Of Warcraft is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most popular MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) of all times. The original WOW came out in 2004 and it peaked at 12 million subscribers in October of 2010 and has since calmed to down to a still impressive 5.5 million.
So now, Universal is releasing a film based off the game, ‘Warcraft’. If you’ve ever seen a movie based off a video game, chances are, it’s not going to be good. This film hopes to change that. In this interview, Rob Kazinsky understands the concerns of video gamers (and is really excited to prove them wrong), Toby Kebbell explains where the film finds itself in the franchise, Director Duncan Jones loves the opportunity to create a movie for passionate fans, Ben Schnetzer discusses why a good story will triumph, and Paula Patton hopes that everyone will just be entertained.
Warcraft releases June 10, 2016.
