It’s been thirteen years since a father fish took a new friend on a journey across the ocean to find his son in Pixar’s smash hit Finding Nemo. Now that friend wants to find her family in ‘Finding Dory’.
The cast came out to the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, where of course Disney/Pixar went all out for the premiere, complete with activities for the kids, giveaways, and even a blue carpet.
In the above interview from the World Premiere, hear from Disney/Pixar Animation CCO John Lasseter about where the idea for ‘Finding Dory’ came from, Ty Burrell says how easy of a decision it was to do the film, the new voice of Nemo Hayden Rolence talks about how exciting it was to do a film for Disney, Ed O’Neill tells us why we should see the film in theaters, Albert Brooks talks about not wanting to let the animators down, and Ellen DeGeneres tries to figure out why people love the franchise so much.
Finding Dory releases June 17, 2016.
