What’s Leaving Netflix in December? ‘Batman Begins’ Comes to an End

With December right around the corner everyone already looking past Thanksgiving ahead to Christmas, we thought we’d take a look at next month’s Netflix catalogue. From gritty reboots to drug fueled fantasies, here’s everything leaving Netflix in December:

Batman Begins

The first movie in Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy introduced us to a darker, more realistic version of the Batman. Fun fact, Christian Bale performed all his own stunts for the movie, but producers wouldn’t let him anywhere near the Batmobile, fearing he would wreck it. It didn’t do much good though as a drunk driver crashed into the car anyway after mistaking it for an alien spacecraft.
Netflix’s Alternatives: Gotham, Batman

Silence of the Lambs

In 1991, Silence of the Lambs introduced us to Hannibal Lecter and was only the third film in history to win all five major Academy Awards (Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Screenplay).
Netflix’s Alternatives: The Professional, Killing Them Softly

Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason

The second installment in the Bridget Jones franchise taught us that Colin Firth is more attractive than Hugh Grant. The third film, Bridget Jones’s Baby, will co-star Patrick Dempsey and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2016.

Labyrinth

What happens when Jim Henson, George Lucas, and David Bowie team up? Magic.
