It’s that time of the year again! It’s time for people to get out all of their frustrations. It’s Purge time!
In 2013’s The Purge a family stayed inside hoping they could live out the madness. In 2014’s The Purge: Anarchy Sergeant (Grillo) wanted to take out his frustrations of his child’s death, but he ended up having to protect three different groups throughout the night. Now in 2016, we have ‘The Purge: Election Year’, and what’s changed?
In the above interview, Producer Jason Blum tells us about the story for this film, Elizabeth Mitchell talks about her character’s bravery, Mykelti Williamson tells us about the new rule for this year’s purge, and Frank Grillo discusses the real world connection that takes place in the film.
The Purge: Election Year releases this Friday, July 1, 2016. Happy purging!
