Synopsis

Twenty-five year old Ethan Humphries, "Hump" to his friends, is suffering from a classic case of Peter Pan syndrome. In the seven years since graduating high school, his greatest accomplishment is being able to get into any club in Los Angeles. Supported by wealthy parents, he works out, parties, and brings a different girl home every night. One evening, he gets a call from his inebriated friend, Brad, who accidentally spills the beans about their best friend Jeff's wedding--taking place the following weekend. Apparently someone 'forgot' to tell Ethan. Ethan immediately flies back home to Vancouver and meets up with Jeff, who has become a corporate shill. Jeff has gone so far as to name Stu, the brown-nosing Vice President of his advertising firm, his best man. Worst of all, Jeff is marrying Ethan's high school sweetheart, Stephanie. Sliding into regression, Ethan unsuccessfully tries to recreate his high school glory days with his friends. His relationship with Jeff is in shambles, Ethan focuses his efforts on getting Stephanie back. Through a series of events, Ethan begins to understand that he has a lot to learn about friendship, love and growing up.
