Wreck-It Ralph Goes Online In Trailer For 2nd Movie

The first trailer for Wreck-It Ralph’s second film, and brace yourself, it’s hilarious.

The first Wreck-It Ralph film was actually fantastic. Video game movies are often, let’s be honest, awful. So Pixar making jokes at video games with easter eggs galore was a winner in my book. Now the sequel is here, and can it hold up to the original film?

Judging by this trailer, yes. Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz Sarah Silverman) must travel to someplace they’ve never been before, the internet. In the trailer, the pair sees the world of eBay, internet catchlines like telling people they might have won when its a virus or list headlines that so many other sites have, and the obsession of cat photos online. Don’t worry they haven’t left the video games behind, as they even poke at the simple games like TocaBoca, in a scene I actually laughed out loud at.

This movie feels like what the Emoji movie wanted to be, and I am excited by the first trailer.

‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’ releases November 21, 2018.
