Have you ever wanted to try your hand at voice acting? Wes Anderson is giving one lucky fan the chance! The director has officially announced his first film since 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. Following in the steps of Fantastic Mr. Fox, Isle Of Dogs is a star-studded, stop-motion animated film.
In a video announcement, Anderson gives the first glimpse of Edward Norton’s canine character (which we’re guessing is one of the main characters of the film). The flick, which is currently filming in London, has cast some of Hollywood’s heaviest hitters. Scarlett Johansson and Greta Gerwig are the latest additions, joining an already stacked bill with Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bob Balaban, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Courtney B. Vance and Yoko Ono. There’s just one tiny part of the cast missing — and that’s you!
Anderson has partnered with Crowdrise to give one lucky fan a chance to voice one of the characters and visit the set. To enter, fans can donate $10 to support The Film Foundation, a charity founded by Martin Scorsese that donates money on behalf of film preservation.
There’s no release date for the film yet and it still appears to be in the early stages of filming, but with such an amazing cast, we’re positive it will be a family classic.
