In 2019, Taylor Swift released her hit holiday song “Christmas Tree Farm,” which is based on her childhood growing up on her family’s farm in Pennsylvania!

Kelly Clarkson first made her way onto Christmas playlists in 2013 when she released her holiday album Wrapped in Red. This album features what has become her beloved Christmas song: “Underneath the Tree.”
Earlier this year, Kelly Clarkson released her second Christmas album When Christmas Comes Around…, which includes the breakup song “Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You)” as well as “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me” featuring her fellow judge on The Voice, Ariana Grande.

When the Jonas Brothers made their comeback in 2019, they not only released a new album, but also followed it up with an original Christmas song! “Like It’s Christmas” is all about being with the perfect person who makes everyday feel like a holiday. “I Need You Christmas” (2020) features the Jonas Brothers reminiscing on their holiday traditions, putting listeners right in the Christmas spirit!

In 2011, Justin Bieber released his full-length Christmas album Under the Mistletoe. This album is best known for Justin’s single Mistletoe, but it’s also filled with other original songs, as well as fun twists on holiday classics!
Some standout covers from Under the Mistletoe are “Drummer Boy” featuring Busta Rhymes and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” Originals like “All I Want Is You” and “Home This Christmas” serve as the perfect Christmas love songs!

Pop sensation Ariana Grande has not one, but 2 holiday EPs! “Santa Tell Me” from her Christmas Kisses (2013) is an upbeat tune that features the singer asking Santa for advice on her love life. Ariana’s 2015 EP Christmas & Chill offers unique original tracks like “December” and “True Love,” which is a play on the holiday classic “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
HollyGOOD Christmas songs by Mariah Carey
What would a Christmas playlist be without songs by THE Mariah Carey? Of course, we have to include her quintessential Christmas hit “All I Want For Christmas You,” as well as her cover of Darlene Love’s Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
During the 2020 Apple TV+ special, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, Mariah sang her 2010 Christmas song “Oh Santa!” featuring none other than Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson!
