Lady Gaga has opened up about how much she cherishes her friendship with Ariana Grande, admitting it’s so hard to make good female friends in the music business.
The 34-year-old singer is good pals with Ariana, and the pair recently collaborated on the chart-topping tune Rain on Me. Gaga spoke about the friendship during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning, and smiled: “I love that girl.”
“You know how hard it is to make a female friend in this business?” she continued. “In this business, having a female friend is like watching a pig fly.”

Gaga’s remark comes after she also opened up about their friendship while accepting the gong for Best Collaboration at the recent 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, as she gushed: “Ariana and I really connected through this song.
“Me and Ariana are truly soul sisters. Girl, this is for us. We both been through some s**t together, but we were willing to share that with each other. Ari, I love you.”
