HOLLYWOOD - Fans of Jack Bauer will have to wait several years before they can see their hero on the big screen, because plans to shoot a movie for hit TV series 24 have fallen through.
The film, starring Kiefer Sutherland as federal agent Bauer, was thought to begin shooting in London later this year, but an appearance by the show's creator, Robert Cochran, on Larry King Live last night, appears to dismiss the notion of 24 'the movie' anytime soon.
Instead of specifying more details about the film version of 24, Cochran referred to "a movie" being put together at the end of the final series, which is thought to be around 2009.
