Paula Abdul is set to swap singing for dancing -- the former American Idol judge is eyeing a role on rival reality TV show So You Think You Can Dance, because choreography is her first love.
The 47-year-old quit Simon Cowell's talent series earlier this week, announcing the news on her Twitter page.
She is now considering a new role on the popular dancing series -- just weeks after the show's judge Nigel Lythgoe revealed he would welcome Abdul onboard "without question."
Abdul admits she is seriously thinking about signing on, because dance is her greatest passion.
She says, "I am not going to rule that out. I'm a dancer, a choreographer. Dance is a love of mine. But I have yet to sit down and discuss anything with anyone. It's all happening within the next couple of weeks."
