Actress Kim Stanley dead at 76


HOLLYWOOD - Kim Stanley, who was nominated for Oscars for her performances in Seance on a Wet Afteroon in 1964 and Frances in 1982, but was perhaps best known for her stage role in Bus Stop, died Monday in Santa Fe, NM, at the age of 76. She also won two Emmys, one for her appearance in an episode of Ben Casey in 1963, the other for her appearance as Big Mama in the PBS American Playhouse production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in 1984.
