Adele sure seems to be rolling in the drama lately. When word spread that our favorite soul singer had found a new man, Simon Konecki, naturally we wanted to learn a little more about him, but what we learned wasn't exactly pleasant. After some dirt-digging, British tabloids started to report that Adele's new Mr. Right, was actually Mr. Wrong, claiming that the man was not only married, but a father to a 5-year-old daughter. Yikes. But the British singer isn't about to let such gossip go unnoticed and she decided to set the record straight once and for all.
Adele acknowledged the rumors on her official blog, writing, "This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon. Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx." So that's that. Granted, she didn't address whether he has a kid or not, but as long as he's not actually still married, then it really doesn't matter. Personally, I think Adele would be great with kids anyway; she could even sing them to sleep!
No one can blame Adele for being a little perturbed about the whole situation. Saying Simon was married is basically implying that she's some sort of home-wrecker, which is not exactly the world's best compliment. So with that settled, let's see what actually stems from this relationship. After all, she's going to need some new material for her next album.
