HOLLYWOOD - Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock struggled to take their 'legal' wedding seriously when they exchanged vows in Beverly Hills in August--they invited their kids to hide in courthouse bushes and take pictures.
The couple, who split last month, wed in St. Tropez, France, but learned the nuptials weren't legal and had to renew their vows in Los Angeles.
Anderson says, "We didn't realize we had to do a whole other ceremony in front of the judge and exchange rings.
"There were plastic flowers and a plastic cake and plastic chairs and I was like, 'We should get the kids out of the car for this, don't you think, honey?'
"I didn't realize we were going to have to do more than just sign a paper.
"I gave both kids cameras, and they hid in the bushes and took pictures."
