Angelina Jolie will be honored by the Producers Guild of America with its prestigious Stanley Kramer Award -- for her soon-to-be-released directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey.
The Kramer Award, which Jolie will receive at the Guild's annual ceremony on Jan. 21, honors a film or individual associated with a film whose "achievement or contribution illuminates provocative social issues in an accessible and elevating fashion."
Blood and Honey, set for release on Dec. 23 -- and for which Jolie is currently being sued! -- tells a love story set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War.
