Jennifer Aniston has embraced life as "the lonely girl" in Hollywood -- insisting she has learned to find humor in her dismal dating life.
The 40-year-old actress admits she has felt pressure to find the perfect mate since her 2005 split from Brad Pitt, counting Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and model Paul Sculfor among her most recent suitors.
But Aniston doesn't mind being the poster girl for aging women who are still unattached, and admits she's amused by the idea she can't find a man.
She tells Elle magazine, "I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It's fine. I can take it... If I'm the emblem for 'this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,' so be it... I can make fun of myself. And I'll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up."
