Ashley Judd Engaged!
HOLLYWOOD - Ashley Judd SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 27, 2000 -- Note to all hopeful bachelors: As of today, Ashley Judd is no longer, so to speak, available. The actress’s mother, country singer Naomi Judd, announced today that the youngest Judd has been engaged to Indy car racer Dario Franchitti since December.
Judd made her acting name in films such as "A Time to Kill," "Kiss the Girls" and last year’s "Double Jeopardy." Her previous beaus include Matthew McConaughey and singers Lyle Lovett and Michael Bolton.
As to Franchitti, the young speedracer is mostly known for racing fast as part of the Team Kool Green.
Judd and Franchitti met at a wedding reception and have been dating since May. Most recently, the pair competed in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in Long Beach, Calif. In different races, of course.
No wedding date has yet been set.
