HOLLYWOOD - Co-defendants Ashley Judd and Entertainment Tonight have settled a lawsuit with reporter Larry Birkhead out of court, The Associated Press reports. The Louisville-based freelance entertainment writer accused Judd of making libelous remarks on ET about an article Birkhead wrote for USA Today. The suit, filed in the Jefferson County Court, asked for punitive and compensatory damages. The amount of the settlement was not reported. "I'm happy with the settlement, and it's a relief that it's over," Birkhead said.
