As Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner were leaving the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel early Sunday morning and continuing their discussion about what the Sk8r girl turnout will be in next year's Presidential election, they found themselves in the middle of a fight! People Magazine reports Lavigne was the assailants' preliminary target, and Jenner became involved as well when he stepped in to defend his girlfriend. Although there's no word on what the quarrel was about or who was responsible for its onset, Avril tweeted an update about her injuries, writing "I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f*cked." She continued, "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer." Photos of the scene show Jenner with a large gash above his right eyebrow, which he referenced in the tweet, "Interesting Saturday night...Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face. Charges/chargers!!!"
Interestingly enough, an LAPD spokesperson "had no confirmation of the alleged fight." But even if the altercation didn't occur and the couple actually inflicted their injuries onto each other during a passionate argument, it still sounds like Bruce Jenner better get back into the public speaking about self-respect and determination and discipline thing again.
