BOX OFFICE: Urban Legend, Old Legend
HOLLYWOOD - Who says old movies aren't scary? "The Exorcist," a 27-year-old classic, had enough chills and thrills to earn a very respectable $8.5 million this weekend in a limited re-release, earning the No. 2 spot at the box office.
The No. 1 flick, the Joseph Lawrence vehicle "Urban Legends: Final Cut," made just a few dollars more, according to estimated by Exhibitor Relations Co. Meanwhile, the weekend's other new film, "Woman on Top," floundered at No. 10.
