HOLLYWOOD - Model-turned-talk-show host Tyra Banks scored a political coup on her show on Monday night when guest Hillary Clinton opened up about her husband's affair with intern Monica Lewinsky.
Clinton, who is among the favorites to become the next President and return to the White House, where she was the First Lady, rarely agrees to talk about her husband Bill's infidelity a decade ago.
But she was candid and thoughtful while chatting to Banks on the ex-model's nightly show.
She told the former Victoria's Secret catwalk star she did a lot of soul searching after the scandal exploded in an attempt to find out if she wanted to save her marriage.
She said, "I really had to dig down deep and think hard about what was right for me."
But a level head helped her come to terms with what had happened--and move on.
She added, "You are mad, you are really upset, you are disappointed... all of that goes through your mind.
"I have found you really shouldn't make decisions in the heat of those moments.
"I never doubted Bill's love for me, ever."
