Basil Fawlty, the frenzied owner of the Fawlty Towers hotel, ranks as the favorite television character of Prime Minister Tony Blair, Conservative Party leader William Hague and Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy, according to British Web site www.unmissabletv.com. "I'd probably plump for Basil Fawlty, because John Cleese took a tiny part of the British psyche and made it hilarious," Blair said.
