HOLLYWOOD - Former Baywatch star Jaason Simmons has come out about his homosexuality in an interview with an Australian magazine.
The actor, who played Logan on the hit TV series, has revealed he is set to wed his partner of eight months, Irish actor John O'Callaghan, in Canada.
The couple--who live in California--has a 6-year-old adopted son from Uganda.
He tells New Idea magazine, "We're doing it (getting married) for our family and for my soon-to-be son. Although you don't want to typecast yourself, you have to take responsibility and ownership and move humanity forward, out of bigotry.
"Our son needs to see we can stand in front of family and loved ones who are going to support our union through the good times and bad."
