HOLLYWOOD - Former child star Joe Pichler is feared dead after his car was discovered containing a suicidal note, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, last Tuesday.
The Beethoven's 3rd actor's vehicle was found parked at an intersection above a slender stretch of water called Port Madison Narrows. The former actor, now aged 18, abandoned Hollywood in 2002 to return to his hometown of Bremerton, Washington.
The letter expressed his desires to be a "stronger brother" but also asked for his belongings to be bestowed upon his younger sibling. Pichler's mother Kathy says, "We always kept him really grounded. He's always been a regular kid with a job a teenager wouldn't normally have."
Kathy is keen to express her gratitude to the 150 citizens who formed a search party on Saturday and thanks the emergency services for their continued support: "I don't know how we're going to thank all these people."
