HOLLYWOOD - Halle Berry's ex-husband Eric Benet has sent the actress good luck during her pregnancy, wishing her "all the happiness in the world."
Berry, 41, confirmed rumors she was expecting her first child earlier this week.
Her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, whom she met on a Versace photo shoot in November 2005, is the father.
Soul singer Benet, who divorced Berry in 2005 after four years of marriage, hopes his ex has a smooth-running pregnancy.
He says, "I wish Halle and her partner a healthy baby and all the happiness in the world."
Berry was stepmother to Benet's daughter India during their marriage and planned to adopt the teenager before the couple's divorce.
