HOLLYWOOD - Superstar singer Beyonce Knowles is reportedly being lined up to be featured in a film adaptation of Broadway musical Aida.
It has been rumored the Dreamgirls actress is in talks with Walt Disney Studios to play the title role in the Giuseppe Verdi opera.
The lead role has previously been filled on stage by Toni Braxton, and Knowles' fellow Destiny's Child bandmate, Michelle Williams.
Aida tells the story of a Nubian princess who is captured by an Egyptian captain.
