After dating each other for five months, Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio ended their romantic relationship and have decided to go their separate ways. Reps for both A-list stars confirmed the split and stated the pair "remain friends." (It seems like they always say that, doesn't it?) The news is sure to come as a shock to some of their friends and family. One of Leo's pals had previously confessed that he'd "never seen him like this with a girl." Another insider had also made a bold statement, saying, "I bet they get engaged in six months." Let's hope these friends didn't have a bet going on any of that.
Despite how hard break ups can be, Blake never lets public opinion affect her attitude about who she is. In a recent interview with Glamour magazine, the actress said, "I have a strong sense of myself. That gives me a sense of security, you know? Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it's never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends." So if she maintains this optimistic attitude she'll be back in the dating game in no time. Meanwhile, the rest of us can rejoice in the fact that Leo is back on the market. When one door closes, another one opens!
